Church Missions

At Christian Community Church of Farmingdale, our calling extends beyond the walls of our building — reaching hearts and communities both near and far. We are blessed to partner with local leaders and families in Jamaica, where we invest not only in spiritual growth but in lasting hope, dignity, and transformation.

Through prayer, service, and sustainable outreach, our mission teams work alongside our brothers and sisters to:

  • Spread the love of Jesus in word and deed

  • Support community development and educational initiatives

  • Provide encouragement, resources, and compassion to those in need

Every journey, every relationship, and every life touched is a reminder of God’s generous heart and how we are all connected in His purpose. Join us as we share stories of impact, opportunities to serve, and the ways God continues to move through this work in Jamaica.

Donate to Help Rebuild Pastor Errol & Peggy’s Home

Pastors Errol and Peggy have faithfully served the Lord and their community for 47 years. They pastor two congregations with Faith Christian Fellowship Churches—one in Claremont and one in St. Ann’s Bay. Their ministry has reached a countless number of lives as they prayed, taught the Gospel, and showed the Love of Jesus. Our church has partnered in ministry with them for 37 years, after Hurricane Gilbert destroyed the island much like Hurricane Melissa just did.

Today, it is our turn to be a blessing to them as they have been to so many. First, please pray. They cherish our prayers and they know that God will give them the wisdom and strength they need to get through this time. Second, please donate. Any amount, large or small, will be a tremendous blessing to them. Every dollar GoFundMe sends us will go directly to them for the rebuilding of their home. Thank you for standing with us and supporting this faithful couple in their time of need. May God richly bless you!

UPDATE: Pastors Errol and Peggy have salvaged whatever they could from their home and the structure is now ready to begin the rebuilding process. Any amount you can donate toward the rebuild would be a blessing to them! After 45 years of serving their community, we want to be a blessing to them! Thank you to everyone who has donated already!

UPDATE: Pastors Errol and Peggy extend their thanks to everyone that has blessed them with their prayers and their finances. They wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!

1. They are living with Sister Peggy’s brother while their home is being reconstructed. Her brother is opening up his home so Pastors Errol & Peggy can continue to have church services for the congregation of the St. Anne’s Bay church that was destroyed.

2. The temporary electric meter needed for the repairs is installed.

3. Thanks to the donations we have already received, they can start to purchase the building materials needed to begin the reconstruction.

Any amount you can donate will be a blessing.

Thank you to everyone who has already generously donated.

Crisis Response International (CRI)

Crisis Response International (CRI) is a Christian ministry dedicated to bringing hope, relief, and the love of Christ to people affected by disasters and crises. Founded in 2007, CRI trains and mobilizes volunteers, churches, and individuals to respond to urgent physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in the wake of natural disasters, humanitarian emergencies, and other crises around the world. The goal is not only to provide practical aid — like food, water, cleanup efforts, and chaplaincy support — but also to minister hope and healing in the midst of suffering. Training events and responder certification equip people to serve effectively on the frontlines wherever help is needed most.

Mission Haiti Helping Kids

Mission Haiti Helping Kids was founded by an ordinary woman who traveled to Haiti on a mission trip and fell deeply in love with the children she met there. Inspired to do more, she started Mission Haiti Helping Kids just five weeks after the devastating hurricane on January 12, 2010.  She dedicated herself to helping vulnerable children and ultimately opened two orphanages through the organization, which focuses on providing safe, nurturing, faith-based homes, proper nutrition, medical care, and education for Haitian children.

Unfortunately, Haiti has been in a severe crisis for years, with powerful armed gangs taking control of large areas of the country, especially around the capital, Port-au-Prince. These groups now dominate much of the capital and other regions, creating widespread insecurity, displacing families, and making daily life extremely dangerous. Children are particularly at risk. Many are forced into gang activity and violent crime has disrupted schools, healthcare, and basic services across the nation.

Under these conditions, one of the orphanages associated with Mission Haiti Helping Kids was forced to close amid the deteriorating security situation. Armed groups in Haiti now operate with guns and terror, severely limiting the ability of humanitarian organizations to operate safely and protect the children in their care.
